Terms of Use – ABMBooks

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ABMBooks software and services (“Service”) provided by ABMBooks Inc. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Definitions
- “User” means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the ABMBooks platform.
- “Client Data” means any business or personal data entered into the platform by the user.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information and update it as needed. You are responsible for:
- Securing your login credentials
- All activities under your account
- Ensuring that users under your account comply with these Terms
3. Services Offered
- Payroll management (paystubs, direct deposit, CRA remittance)
- Bookkeeping (GL-coded entries, invoices, expense tracking)
- Reporting (T4s, ROEs, GST/PST remittances)
- Business support tools (quote creation, client communication)
Some features may require a paid plan.
4. Fees and Billing
- Subscription fees are in CAD and subject to applicable taxes.
- Charges are billed monthly/annually as per your selected plan.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.
5. User Conduct
You agree to:
- Use the platform in compliance with Canadian law
- Not misuse or reverse-engineer the software
- Not use the platform to store or transmit infringing or malicious content
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access:
- For non-payment or breach of Terms
- If fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive use is detected
You may cancel at any time via your dashboard.
7. Data Ownership & Protection
You own all Client Data submitted to the platform. We:
- Act as a processor of your data
- Do not claim ownership of your business content
- Maintain data security and privacy safeguards
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
ABMBooks is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Error-free operation
- Uninterrupted access
- Compliance if you enter inaccurate data
We are not liable for:
- Lost profits
- Tax penalties due to user error
- Data breaches caused by third-party platforms or user negligence
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and applicable Canadian federal laws. Legal disputes must be resolved in the jurisdiction of Winnipeg, MB.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies your acceptance.
